MCA Pilot has two duplicate-blocking rules to prevent the same deal from being sent to the same funder twice by mistake.
2-minute retry block
If you submit the same deal to the same funder and the submission fails, you must wait at least 2 minutes before clicking Submit again. A second attempt within 2 minutes is not processed.
This rule only applies when resubmitting the exact same deal to the exact same funder. It usually comes up after a submission errors and you want to retry immediately.
24-hour active-submission block
If there is already an active submission for the same deal to the same funder within the last 24 hours, and that submission has a status other than Errored, a new submission to that funder will be blocked.
This is why a funder may be skipped when you submit, even if you did not click twice in a row.
How to retry after a 24-hour block
To resubmit to a funder that was skipped:
Open the deal and go to the Submissions tab.
Find the existing submission to that funder.
Change its status to Errored, or delete the submission entirely.
Return to the deal and click the green Submit button.
Once the prior submission is no longer active, you can submit normally.
Submit to additional funders instead
If you want to send the deal to new funders without touching an existing submission:
Open the deal and go to the Funders section.
Select only the additional funders.
Click Add to queue, then click Submit.
This queues only the new funders and avoids the duplicate check on the original submission.
