If you frequently submit deals to the same group of funders, you can save time by creating a Funder Tag and applying it to multiple funders. This allows you to easily add them in bulk instead of selecting them one by one.
Step 1: Create a Funder Tag
Go to FundMore Settings > Tags.
Click “New Tag” and create a tag for your group of funders (e.g., "Preferred Lenders" or "High-Volume Funders").
Apply this tag to the funders you want grouped together.
Step 2: Use the Funder Tag When Submitting a Deal
Open any deal and go to the Funders tab.
Use the Filter option to search for funders by tag.
Bulk select the funders you want and click “Add to Queue.”
When you click “Submit,” the selected funders from your queue will automatically be included.
By setting up Funder Tags, you can simplify submissions and ensure consistency in selecting the right funders for each deal
Use Tags for Composite or Special Lender Criteria
MCA Pilot does not support composite criteria fields that combine multiple rules into one filter. If a lender has a requirement that depends on two or more conditions together, create a custom funder tag for that combination and use it when filtering funders.
Common examples:
Sole proprietorship in California — a funder that only accepts sole proprietors based in California. Since there is no single field for legal structure + state, tag those funders with something like "Sole Prop CA".
Construction minimum revenue — a funder that requires a higher monthly revenue specifically for construction businesses. Tag those funders with "Construction 150K Min".
Trucking minimum trucks — a funder that requires a minimum fleet size for trucking. Tag those funders with "Trucking 5+ Trucks".
To set this up:
Go to FundMore Settings > Tags and create a tag that describes the combined rule.
Apply the tag to every funder that enforces that special criteria.
When submitting a deal, filter the funder list by that tag to see only the matching funders.
Use standard criteria fields for general requirements that can be expressed in a single field. Use custom funder tags for any rule that depends on two or more fields in combination.
