Data Merch is a bring-your-own-key integration. MCA Pilot does not provide a Data Merch account, so you must plug in your own Data Merch credentials to connect your account.
Data Merch must be enabled in your settings before the Run Data Merch button appears in deals. After it is turned on, you can run it from any deal’s Underwrite tab and view the results with one click.
Enable Data Merch in settings
Open the Settings page and go to the Features tab.
Check the box labeled Enable Data Merch.
Enter your Authentication Token and Authentication Key in the fields that appear.
Save the settings.
If you do not see the Run Data Merch button in a deal, return to the Features tab and confirm that Enable Data Merch is checked and both credentials are saved.
Run Data Merch on a deal
Open a deal and go to the Underwrite tab.
Click Run Data Merch.
Click View Data Merch to see the results.
Quick test flow
Pick an existing deal with a complete Details tab and at least one bank statement in the Underwrite tab.
Click Run Data Merch and wait for it to finish.
Click View Data Merch to confirm the results load.
If the results do not appear, verify that the deal has statement data in the Underwrite tab and that the Data Merch credentials are still valid in Settings > Features.
