How to find who is assigned to a deal

V
Written by Victor Fteha

On the main Deals page, the Primary Originator and Primary Closer columns show which reps are credited for each deal. To see every rep assigned to the deal, open the deal record and go to the Details tab. If a column is cut off, drag the border between two column headers to resize it.

What you see on the main Deals page

The list view on the main Deals page shows two rep columns:

  • Primary Originator — the rep who gets leaderboard credit for this deal.

  • Primary Closer — the closer who gets leaderboard credit for this deal.

These columns show only the primary rep. They do not show every assigned rep.

What you see on the deal record

Open a deal and go to the Details tab to see all assignment fields:

  • Originators — the reps who own this deal and can reassign it. A deal appears in a rep's dashboard only when they are added here.

  • Primary Originator — the rep who gets leaderboard credit. This controls whose name appears in the Primary Originator column on the main Deals page, but it does not grant access by itself.

  • Closers — additional reps who can view private deals, but cannot reassign them.

  • Primary Closer — the closer who gets leaderboard credit. This controls whose name appears in the Primary Closer column on the main Deals page, but it does not grant access by itself.

Reassign a deal

You can reassign a deal from either the list view or the deal record:

  1. Hover over the deal row or open the deal record.

  2. Click the person icon at the top right.

  3. The tooltip reads Reassign.

  4. Add or remove reps in the Originators or Closers fields.

To change who owns the deal, update the Originators field. The Primary Originator field is only for leaderboard attribution.

Resize a column that is cut off

If a column overflows into the next row or is too narrow to read, drag the border between two column headers to make it wider or narrower.
