To reassign a deal so it appears in another user's dashboard, you need to add them to the Originator field. This gives them ownership, access, and the ability to reassign the deal further.

Reassign from the Deals page

  1. Go to your main Deals page

  2. Hover over the deal you want to reassign

  3. Click the Reassign button (person icon)

  4. Add the new user as an Originator

The deal will now appear in the new user's dashboard.

Reassign from inside a deal

  1. Open the deal

  2. Click the Reassign button (person icon)

  3. Modify the Originators field to add or remove users

  4. Save your changes

Understanding owner fields

Originator (multi-select): Users who own this deal and can reassign it. Required for the deal to appear in their dashboard.

Primary Originator (single): The user who gets leaderboard credit. This controls whose name shows in the originator column on the Deals page, but doesn't grant access by itself.

Closer (multi-select): Additional users who can view private deals but can't reassign them.

Primary Closer (single-select): The closer who gets leaderboard credit. This controls whose name shows in the closer column on the Deals page, but doesn't grant access by itself.

To reassign ownership, always update the Originator field. The Primary Originator field is only for leaderboard attribution.

Bulk reassignment (Admin only)

Admins can reassign all deals from one user to another:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Hover over the user's name

  3. Click Reassign All Deals

  4. Select the new Originator
