MCA Pilot supports multiple SMS providers including GoHighLevel, Twilio, TextUs, OpenPhone, and Entrance. This guide covers Entrance (Entrance GRP) specifically. If you use a different provider, select it when adding a new SMS account in Settings > Senders.

Already texting merchants from Entrance? You can send from your existing Entrance workspace through MCA Pilot — automated follow-ups and one-off texts to deals — with replies landing in your normal Entrance conversations.

What You'll Need

  • An active Entrance workspace with texting enabled

  • An Entrance login (email and password) for MCA Pilot to send with

Important: Entrance connects with a login, not an API key. The API keys generated in Entrance's settings will not work here — use a login email and password that can sign in to the Entrance dashboard.

Step 1: Choose the Login MCA Pilot Will Use

Any working Entrance login for your workspace will do, but we recommend creating a dedicated login just for MCA Pilot (for example, [email protected]):

  • If a personal login is connected and that person later changes their password, texting from MCA Pilot stops until the new password is saved in MCA Pilot.

  • A dedicated login keeps the connection independent of any one person's account.

A standard user login works — the login does not need admin permissions in Entrance.

Step 2: Add Your Entrance Account to MCA Pilot

  1. In MCA Pilot, go to Settings

  2. Click on the Senders tab

  3. In the SMS Accounts table, click + New SMS Account

  4. Fill in the form:

You're All Set! 🎉

MCA Pilot can now send SMS messages through your Entrance workspace — in automated follow-ups and when texting a deal directly.

Send From Each Rep's Own Entrance Login

If your reps have their own logins in your Entrance workspace, each rep's texts can go out under their own Entrance identity — so activity in Entrance is attributed to the rep who owns the deal.

  • Add one SMS account per rep, using that rep's Entrance login email and password, and assign the rep as the account's user.

  • Standard user permissions are all a rep's login needs — no admin access required.

  • Reach out to support after adding the accounts and we'll make sure each rep's automated texts send from their own login.

How Sending Works in Entrance

  • First text to a new number — appears in your Entrance dashboard as a small campaign named "MCA Pilot". This is normal; it's how first-contact sends work.

  • After a merchant replies — a conversation thread is created in Entrance, and later texts to that merchant continue in the same thread.

  • Viewing replies — merchant responses appear in your Entrance conversations, where you can read and reply as usual.

Troubleshooting

Texts stopped sending (or never started)

  • Confirm the connected email and password can sign in to the Entrance dashboard — if the password was changed, update it in Settings > Senders in MCA Pilot.

  • If one rep's texts fail while everyone else's send fine, that rep's Entrance password most likely changed — update their SMS account in MCA Pilot.

A connected login that stops working does not fall back to another account — texts from that account will fail until the credentials are updated. If someone changes an Entrance password, update MCA Pilot right away.
