What to do when you created a new DocuSeal form and want to connect it so that new applications come into MCA Pilot.

Step 1: Get Webhook URL

Reach out via the chat or email [email protected] asking us for a Webhook URL.

Step 2: Add Webhook to DocuSeal

Go to DocuSeal > click Settings near the top right > click API on the left sidebar > click Webhooks on the left sidebar > paste in your Webhook URL that you received above.

Then uncheck all the boxes except "form.completed" - that should be the only box checked.

Step 3: Set Up Assignment Rule

If you have a separate form for every rep, you'll need to identify each user in MCA Pilot with their Form ID.

To do this, go to each rep's DocuSeal form and click the dark "Link" button to copy their form link. From the copied link, take just the 7 digit number at the end of it (which is the Form ID).

Then in MCA Pilot: Go to Settings > Workspace > click into that user's profile > click the "Edit" button in top right corner > paste the 7 digit Form ID in the "Unique App ID" field > click the "Done" button in top right corner.

Conclusion

Once you follow these 3 steps, then you're good to go. Whenever a merchant fills out the new form, the deal will be created in MCA Pilot and assigned to the correct rep.
