Why did a deal from Jotform appear in MCA Pilot without bank statements?

If a deal was created in MCA Pilot without bank statements or other file attachments from your Jotform submission, there are three common causes:

1. Missing or Incorrect Jotform API Key

MCA Pilot uses your Jotform API key to download file attachments. If you haven't provided one, or if it doesn't have the right permissions, files won't download.

Fix: Generate a Jotform API key with Full Access permissions and send it to support. Get it at jotform.com/myaccount/api β†’ Create New Key β†’ select Full Access β†’ copy and send to support via chat or email.

2. Jotform API Issues

Occasionally, Jotform's API experiences intermittent outages or errors that prevent MCA Pilot from downloading files, even when your API key is configured correctly.

Fix: Contact support via chat or email. We'll check the API logs and let you know if this was the cause. If Jotform's API is back up, we can manually re-download the files for that deal.

3. Unmapped Field Names

If you updated your Jotform and changed field names, the bank statement field may no longer be mapped correctly in your integration. The merchant uploads the files, but MCA Pilot doesn't know which field to pull them from.

Fix: Contact support. We'll check your field mappings and update them to match your current form.

If you notice this happening frequently, reach out to support. We can investigate and fix the underlying cause so it doesn't happen again.
