Submit Deals instantly from MCA Pilot to Plexe

Our latest API integration is now live: Plexe.

When you submit to Plexe via API, we'll automatically:

  • Submit the Deal info (business details and owner details)

  • Upload bank statements (if available)

  • Check the application status and bring the response into MCA Pilot

  • Save the Application ID to the Submission in MCA Pilot

Setup Instructions

  1. Click here to email Simon Cuce at Plexe asking to get set up with API credentials

  2. You'll receive a username and password from Plexe

  3. In MCA Pilot, go to the Funders page and create or click into Plexe

  4. Under the Submission Method tab, click the Edit button in the top right corner

  5. Choose API Integration as the Submission Method

  6. Select Plexe for API Funder and Development for API Environment

  7. In the API Key field, enter your username and password separated by a comma (e.g., [email protected],Rm7pW338TnL6)

  8. Submit a test Deal that has all the required info

  9. Once successful, contact Plexe to confirm and get your production credentials

  10. Update the API Key field with your production credentials and change the API Environment to Production

  11. You're good to go!

Required Fields

Business Info:

  • Business name

  • Business zip code

Owner Info (the owner with the highest ownership percentage will be submitted):

  • First and last name

  • Residential address (street, city, state)

  • Date of birth

  • Email address

  • Phone number

Financial Info:

  • Annual revenue or bank statements — at least one is required so we can calculate monthly revenue

Smart Defaults & Fallbacks

MCA Pilot will automatically fill in certain fields if they're not provided, so you don't have to worry about every detail:

  • Amount requested — if not set, defaults to 2x the calculated monthly revenue

  • Purpose of funds — if not set, defaults to "Working Capital"

  • Monthly revenue — calculated from annual revenue (divided by 12), or if annual revenue isn't available, averaged from your most recent bank statement deposit totals

Additional Info Sent (Optional)

The following fields are not required, but will be included in the submission if available in the Deal:

  • EIN

  • DBA / Trading name

  • Industry and NAICS code

  • Business start date

  • Legal structure

  • Website

  • FICO score (sent as a note)

  • Average monthly deposits (sent as a note)

Documents

Documents are not required, but bank statements will be automatically uploaded if they're available in the Deal. This can help speed up processing on Plexe's end.

Important Notes

  • Only one owner (the one with the highest ownership percentage) will be submitted

  • Your API credentials contain two parts separated by a comma — make sure there are no extra spaces

  • MCA Pilot supports both Development and Production environments — test in Development first before switching to Production

  • The Application ID returned from Plexe will be saved to the Submission in MCA Pilot

  • After a successful submission, your Submission status will show as "Sent" in MCA Pilot

Note: If an API Submission errors, hover over the Submission and click View error to see what's wrong. You can fix the missing information and resubmit.
