Our latest API integration is now live: Headway Capital.
When you submit to Headway Capital via API, we'll automatically:
Submit the Deal info
Upload the documents (application and bank statements)
Submit for underwriting review
Bring the response and Account ID into MCA Pilot, including declines and Offers
Tip: If you hover over the Submission, you'll see an Open in Headway button that opens the Submission directly in your Headway Capital portal. You'll also see a Check Status button which gets a live update from Headway Capital and updates the Submission.
Setup Instructions
Click here to email the Headway Dev team ([email protected]) asking to get set up with API credentials. When they ask for IP addresses, let them know you'll be submitting from:

In the Funders page, create or click into Headway Capital
Under the Submission Method tab, click the
Editbutton in the top right cornerChoose

Headway Capitalfor API Funder andDevelopmentfor API EnvironmentIn the API Key field: type your username and password separated by a comma (e.g.,
[email protected],northpoint_12_5_2023)Submit a test Deal that has all the required info and files
If successful, copy the Response and email it to Headway Capital asking to move to production
Once you get your production credentials, go back to your Headway Capital Funder and enter them into the API Key field
Change the API Environment to
Productionand you're good to go!
Required Fields
Business info: Company name, address, phone, EIN, industry, entity type, start date, email
Owner info: Name, SSN, date of birth, phone, home address, email
Financial info: Annual revenue, requested loan amount, loan purpose
Documents:
App and banks (bank statements)
App for API (application file)
Submission Status Mapping
Headway Capital returns various statuses that are automatically mapped to MCA Pilot statuses:

Action Required | Pending | Broker needs to take action |
Offer Ready | Approved | Offer generated and ready |

Funding Pending | Approved | Approved, waiting for funds to be disbursed |
Issued | Funded | Funds have been disbursed |
Declined | Declined | Application rejected |
Note: If an API Submission errors, hover over the Submission and click View error to see what's wrong. You can fix the missing information and resubmit.
