In Settings, under the Visibility tab, scroll down to the Fields section. There you'll see a setting called Show "Copy Originators" in Submit window - enable that:
When you submit, the originator of the deal will be auto-populated in the "CopyOriginators" field which will allow you to copy them on submissions:
