Our latest API integration is now live: Fora Financial.
When you submit to Fora Financial via API, we'll automatically:
Submit the deal info and documents
Upload the signed application and bank statements
Check the submission status in real-time
Bring the response straight into MCA Pilot, including all status updates
Tip: If you hover over the Submission, you'll see an Open in Fora button that opens the Submission directly in your Fora portal. You'll also see a Check Status button which gets a live update and updates the Submission.
Here are the setup instructions:
Email the Fora Financial team ([email protected]) asking to get set up with the API
In the Funders page, create or click into Fora Financial
Under the Submission Method tab, click the
Editbutton in the top right cornerChoose

Fora Financialfor API Funder andDevelopmentfor API EnvironmentIn the API Key field, type your email and API key separated by a comma e.g.

If successful, hover over the submission and copy the Response and email it to [email protected] asking to move to production
Once you get your production credentials, go back to your Fora Financial Funder and enter them into the API Key field
Change the API Environment to
Productionand you're good to go!
Required fields:
Complete business information (company name, DBA, address, phone, EIN, industry, entity type, inception date, funding amount)
Complete primary owner information (name, address, phone, email, SSN, date of birth, ownership percentage)
Financial data (calculated from bank statements or manual entry)
Documents:
Application for API (recommended)
Bank statements (recommended)
Important Notes:
Credit pull consent is automatically set to "Yes" for both business and primary owner
Industry names are automatically mapped to Fora's industry categories
Legal structures are converted to Fora's entity type format
Only the primary owner (highest ownership percentage) is submitted
Status updates include: Incomplete Application, In Progress, Approved, Declined, Contracts In, Pending Funding, and Funded
Remember: If an API Submission errors, hover over the Submission and click View error to see what's wrong. You can just fix it and resubmit.
