How to Mark an Offer as Funded in Fundmore (Create an Advance)

This guide walks you through the process of marking an offer as funded in the Fundmore platform, which creates an advance in the system.

Step 1: Access the Offers Section

  • Navigate to the left sidebar menu

  • Click on the "Offers" tab

  • You will see a list of all offers with their current status (new, funded, revised, etc.)

Step 2: Review Offer Details

The offers page displays comprehensive information about each deal:

  • Deal name (company)

  • Funder

  • Current status

  • Stage

  • Product type

  • Amount

  • Rate

  • Payback amount

  • Term

  • Payment details

Step 3: Mark the Offer as Funded

  1. Locate the offer you want to mark as funded in the list

  2. Click on the green "Funded" button in the actions row for that offer

  3. A modal window will appear titled "Funded: [Funder Name]"

Step 4: Complete the Funding Form

Fill in the following details in the funding form:

Required Information

  • Commission: Enter the commission amount (e.g., $1,000.00)

  • Fee: Enter any additional fees (e.g., $0.00)

  • Commission expected: Select the date when the commission is expected (e.g., 3/24/2025)

  • Fee expected: Select the date when the fee is expected (e.g., 3/24/2025)

  • Date funded: Enter the actual funding date (e.g., 3/24/2025)

  • Payment splits: Select the appropriate payment split option from the dropdown if applicable

Step 5: Finalize the Funding

  • Review all entered information for accuracy

  • Click the "Confirm" button in the bottom right corner to complete the funding process

  • If you need to cancel, click the "Cancel" button

After Funding

Once an offer is marked as funded:

  • The offer's status will change to "funded" with a blue label in the offers list

  • The funded offer will be recorded in the system and appear in the "Advances" section, where you can track it through the rest of its lifecycle
