Meet Home: Your "Needs Action" Queue

Home shows every deal where something needs to happen, refreshed hourly: what each action means, how to work deals from the panel, and how deals leave the list.

Home is a new page that shows every deal where something needs to happen: either the next move is yours, or you have been waiting on someone longer than normal. It replaces the Dashboard as your starting point for the day.

The rule is simple: if a deal is on Home, there is a reason. If your queue is empty, you are all caught up. The list refreshes automatically every hour.

How to read the list

Each row is a deal. The Action chip tells you why it is here, and Action Since tells you how long it has been waiting. Deals are sorted so the most urgent work is at the top: drain the list from the top down.

Chip colors carry meaning:

  • Red: the next move is yours. These appear the moment the deal enters that stage.

  • Yellow: you are waiting on a funder or merchant, and the wait has gone past normal turnaround.

  • Purple: a past funding is up for renewal.

Working a deal without leaving Home

Click any row to open the deal panel. You get the merchant's phone and email, the action and status, offers, submissions with funder responses, and notes. Most work happens right here.

At the top of the panel: Full Deal (opens the complete deal record), Update Status, and Submit. When a deal's action is Pitch offer, a Pitched button also appears: click it after you pitch (by phone or in writing) to log which offer you pitched. That is what marks the pitch as done and clears the deal from Home.

On each offer row you will find five buttons:

  • Email Offer: emails the offer terms to the merchant. What you see in the preview is what sends.

  • Text Offer: texts the offer terms to the merchant's phone.

  • Request DL/VC: emails the merchant for their driver's license and a voided check.

  • Request Contract: emails the funder to request contracts, attaching the merchant's DL and voided check if on file.

  • Funded: records the advance and moves the deal to Funded. Nothing is sent to anyone.

Every button opens a confirmation that tells you exactly who receives what and what changes on the deal, before anything sends.

What each action means

  • Pitch offer: the deal has offers and no pitch has been logged. Pitch the merchant, then click Pitched.

  • Prepare & submit / Submit to funders / Submit to new funders: the deal is ready to go out. Use Submit.

  • Request contracts: an offer was accepted. Use Request Contract.

  • Finalize funding: contracts are signed. Use Funded once the advance is confirmed.

  • Resubmit or close out: submissions came back with no approval. Submit to new funders, or close the deal out with Update Status.

  • Chase funder for contracts / Nudge ignored funders: a funder is sitting on it. Use Remind Funder on the submission row.

  • Collect DL/VC / Chase missing docs: documents are outstanding. Re-send the request or follow up with the merchant.

  • Chase signature: contracts are with the merchant. A quick call usually does it; the phone number is on the row.

  • Follow up merchant on offer: the merchant has had the offer a while. Call or re-send the terms.

  • Follow up repricing: a repricing request is pending with the funder.

  • Renewal follow-up: a merchant you funded is renewal-eligible. Open Full Deal to send the renewal pitch.

Where did the Dashboard go?

Home replaces it. All your deals, pages, and reports are exactly where they were; only the Dashboard page itself was retired. If something you relied on is missing, tell us through the chat bubble: we want to hear it.
