If you're getting CC'd on all submission emails and your inbox is always clogged up with submission emails, here's how to fix it.

In this example, we'll be using [email protected] as the email that's sending out the submissions, and [email protected] as the email that's being CC'd.

Here are the steps:

  1. Go to https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#settings/filters and make sure you're logged into your email account, [email protected]

  2. Click "Create a new filter"

  3. In the "Has the words" field, enter this:

    from:[email protected] AND cc:[email protected]

(Make sure to replace these 2 emails as directed above)

  4. Click "Search" to see all the emails that would get marked as read

  5. If looks good, then repeat steps 1-3 and click "Create filter" as shown below

  6. In the next section, select "Mark as read" and, if you don't want it to show up in your inbox at all, then also select "Skip the inbox (Archive it)"
