Mark a specific offer as Funded to create the advance, payments, and distributions. Most people do this from the deal’s Activity tab; you can also fund from the Offers list.
Changing the deal’s overall status to Funded does not create the advance or payment records. You must mark the specific offer as Funded.
Mark funded from the deal
Open the deal, then fund the offer from the Offers table on the Activity tab.
Open the deal.
Go to the Activity tab.
Scroll to the Offers table directly below Submissions.
Hover the offer row you want to mark as funded.
Click Funded.
A modal titled Funded: [Funder Name] opens. Complete the funding form, then click Confirm.
Mark funded from the Offers list
You can also mark an offer as funded from Offers in the left sidebar.
In the left sidebar, open Offers.
Find the offer in the list. Status values can include new, funded, and revised.
Click the green Funded button on that offer’s row.
Complete the funding form in the Funded: [Funder Name] modal, then click Confirm.
Complete the funding form
Enter the following details in the funding form before you confirm:
Commission: Enter the commission amount
Fee: Enter any additional fees
Commission expected: Select the date when the commission is expected
Fee expected: Select the date when the fee is expected
Date funded: Enter the actual funding date
Payment splits: Select the appropriate payment split option from the dropdown if applicable
If you can’t find the Funded button
The Funded button appears when you hover the correct offer row in the Offers table, not in Submissions.
On the deal’s Activity tab, use the Offers table below Submissions.
Do not hover rows in the Submissions table above it.
After funding
Confirming funding on the offer creates the advance and related payment records, updates the offer status, and can include the deal in the next daily report when the funding falls inside the report window.
What changes on the offer
After you confirm, the offer status changes to funded with a blue label.
Only marking the specific offer as Funded creates the advance, payments, and distributions.
What appears in Advances
The funded offer is recorded as an advance and appears under Advances in the left sidebar, where you can track it through the rest of its lifecycle.
The Advances table includes deal name, funder information, amount, status, paid-in percentage, originators, closers, and funding dates. To add commission or other payments on that advance, use How to add commissions to an Advance.
When the deal shows in reports
Daily reports include a Funded Deals section for deals funded in the last 24 hours. Those emails are sent automatically at 6 AM.
If the deal was funded earlier than that window, it is expected to be missing from that morning’s report. Review older funded deals in the app, or export your data to CSV. To turn on or use the email, see How to Get Daily Reports.
